Founding EngineerUp to £120,000
About the Role
Clubb gives content creators the building blocks to launch their own branded membership products — content hosting, payments, growth tools, and AI features tailored to their vertical. They're bootstrapped, profitable, and have tripled revenue in the last few months. This is their first engineering hire: you'll work directly alongside the tech co-founder who built the product to date, and lead the agentic and AI-powered side of the platform — the part where most of the new work sits.
What makes this seat different is the loop you'll work in. You'll own areas of the product end to end — sometimes from a prototype, sometimes a design, sometimes neither — talking directly with creators to understand what they need, then shipping it the same day to a platform serving hundreds of thousands of users. The team lives in Cursor, Claude Code and Codex, and the direction is an agentic "creator operating system" — features creators couldn't build for themselves, on a platform no one else offers. If you design or prototype something worth shipping, it ships.
What They're Looking For
- You have at least 3 years of engineering experience at a strong, product-driven company
- You've shipped agentic or AI-powered features in production and dealt with the messy reality of non-deterministic systems
- You're fluent across the full stack — Next.js, Node, Postgres, Stripe, AWS — and comfortable working anywhere in it
- You get serious daily leverage from modern AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code or Codex
- You're a builder first: given a vague brief, you figure out what needs to happen and get it shipped — and you can hold your own in a product conversation
About Clubb
Clubb is a membership platform for creators to launch their own branded membership products. Founded in 2024 and built by two founders — one technical, one product — it's bootstrapped, profitable, and growing fast, with 100+ creators on the platform and around 400,000 end users. The plan is a deliberately small team of high-agency builders: this hire is the first of roughly four engineers for the team.
